Sampling is easy. It takes less than 5 minutes and can be done at home.

After you place an order, your baby gut sample collection kit will be mailed to you and arrives within 3 - 5 days. Follow your sample collection kit instructions and register your test. This way, we can send your baby’s test results with you along with recommendations for your baby’s Tiny Health Gut Type.

About the test

Tiny Health’s baby gut report gives an overview of your baby’s gut microbial environment, which is characterized as one of seven Tiny Health Baby Gut Types. Your baby’s gut report shares information about beneficial bacteria, baby gut dysbiosis, and disease associations.

Baby's gut sample, 7-day after birth: These are the first microbes that colonize a baby’s gut and will leave an immune imprint that will last a long time. This early sample can show you how to positively change the gut microbiome.

Baby’s gut sample, at 3 months and 12 months: These samples can shed some light on whether a baby has biomarkers associated with eczema, allergies, and asthma. 

Baby’s gut sample, at 6 months: This sample can explain how a change in diet may impact a baby’s microbiome. For example, how breastmilk, formula, or solids change the microbiome.
